Overwatch players can get free loot boxes with this Amazon Prime deal

Amazon and Twitch have teamed up with Blizzard to offer Overwatch players free loot boxes in September and October – and we’ve got all the details.

Good news, Overwatch fans! You can now bag yourself five free standard loot boxes in August/September, as well as an extra five boxes throughout October. You’ll also get access to a single ‘Golden Loot Box’, which gets you a guaranteed legendary skin.

But there’s a caveat: you’ll need to have a Twitch Prime subscription. The good news is that since Twitch is owned by Amazon, you’ll get Twitch Prime automatically (if you’re in a support region) as long as you already have an Amazon Prime membership.

The offer for the first five loot boxes is only available between August 10 and September 10. Meanwhile, the Golden Loot Box offer ends at 9am PT (5pm BST) on August 21.

It’s worth mentioning that the offer is also only valid in regions where Twitch Prime is available, and you’ll need to have an active subscription to activate the deal.

The normal loot boxes won’t include seasonal event items, and the contents of all the boxes will be random. You’ll also only be able to redeem one offer code per promotional item for each Blizzard account.
