OS X El Capitan coming to all for free this autumn

Apple has revealed OS X El Capitan will arrive for free this autumn.

During its WWDC presentation, Apple outlined the new features of OS X El Capitan.

If you’re excited to get the latest iteration of Apple’s Mac OS, you’ll be pleased to hear you’ll be able to get your hands on it for free this autumn.

But, if you want it earlier than that the developers’ beta version will be made available today.

Or you could wait until July for the public beta, which you can sign up to free of charge.

OS X El Capitan introduces new features to improve the experience and performance for Mac users.

Our particular favourites are Pinned Tabs, which let you drag Safari windows to the side to save them as a bookmark.

There’s also the new Spaces Bar, which allows you to drag windows to the top of your screen to transform your application into its own space. But that’s not all – there’s Split Screen support too.
