The OnePlus 5T in Lava Red is another fetching variant we can’t buy

OnePlus has outed another colour variant for its flagship 5T smartphone, but it’s only available in India right now.

The limited edition Lava Red OnePlus 5T, which has 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, can be purchased from Amazon India (via Android Central).

The brightly-coloured device has maroon antenna lines, a black faceplate and comes with a pair of Bullet V2 earphones.

Unfortunately, it seems unlikely the variant won’t make it outside of the subcontinent.

OnePlus also launched an attractive Star Wars variant in India, as a tie-in with The Last Jedi movie.

That device made it to Scandinavia, but not to the UK or the US.

Of course, we have had the Sandstone White edition, but that sold out almost instantly.

Follow up on the way…

While these variants are nice, it’ll soon be time to switch attention to the OnePlus 6.

The Chinese company has confirmed the handset will be unveiled sometime between April 1 and June 30.

So far OnePlus has only confirmed the device will boast the Snapdragon 845 processor.

Whether the recent credit card hack will affect the company’s standing among its loyal fans remains to be seen.
