The OnePlus 3 smartphone will be unveiled later today (Tuesday June 14), but it’s no ordinary launch event. Here’s how to watch the OnePlus event live stream in all its Loop VR glory.
The OnePlus 3 is the mobile world’s worst kept secret. We knew when it was landing yonks ago, are already 99.9% sure what it’ll look like, and have even been privy to seeing its camera in (PR approved) action.

But that doesn’t mean that this evening’s OnePlus 3 launch event isn’t worth following, even if you’re not one of the cult manufacturer’s fans.
Why? Because unlike most phones, the OnePlus 3 will hit the catwalk in 360-degree VR glory.
Not that long ago, OnePlus announced that it would be staging a virtual reality reveal for its latest flagship – as well as abandoning that pesky invite-only ordering system.
To see the OnePlus 3 officially break cover and get early access to pre-orders, all you need to do is download OnePlus’ Loop VR app. Having a decent VR headset like the Samsung Gear VR would help you enjoy an optimised experience but isn’t essential.
What is crucial is knowing when to tune in – the OnePlus 3 launch kicks-off at 12:30pm EDT, which is 5:30pm here in the UK, ahead of general pre-orders going live at 6:00pm BST.
