OnePlus 2 invite reservation list is now open

OnePlus has finally opened the OnePlus 2 invite reservation list to the public.

As such, you’re now free to stick your name down on the OnePlus website for a chance to bag an invitation to buy the company’s next smartphone, due to launch on July 27.

Just like the OnePlus One, purchasing the OnePlus 2 will – initially – only be available for purchase with an invite. You can’t just buy it outright on a whim.

The reservation list is a chance for those who haven’t been given exclusive access to early invites to buy the phone.

If you want a OnePlus 2 then you better act quickly, however; over 50,000 people have already signed up.

Fortunately, OnePlus recently confirmed that it was holding 30 to 50 times the launch inventory for the OnePlus 2 compared to the OnePlus One, so stock won’t be such a limiting factor this time around.

In related news, the company has also sent its virtual reality launch app live on the Play Store.

The OnePlus 2 is set to be announced via a live-streamed press event that will be available to watch in 360-degree virtual reality.

To join in, you’ll need the Android app and and VR headset for your phone – Google Cardboard will work.

We’ll bring you the latest OnePlus 2 launch news as it happens tomorrow, so stay tuned.
