Play PS3 games on Windows with an Xbox pad – PS Now on PC hits US

Sony’s PlayStation Now game streaming service is now available on Windows PCs in the United States

After leaking the announcement earlier in this month, Sony followed through with quick launch in the UK and parts of Europe. Now our North American cousins can jump on board.

The app offers over 400+ PlayStation 3 games, available for a monthly subscription fee.

There’s a 7-day trial available, but after that it’ll be $19.99 a month. In the US and Canada, the company is also offering a 12-month deal for just $100.

Windows users will need a DualShock 4 (with a USB cable for now, a wireless adapter is incoming) and a PlayStation Network account, plus a 5Mbps+ broadband connection.

You’ll also be able to play with an Xbox One controller if you have one on hand for your PC gaming experiences.

You’ll need a relatively powerful PC with 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 processors, more than 300MB of hard-drive space and 2GB of RAM.

There’s never been a better time to jump aboard with PS Now with the addition of Tomb Raider GOTY Edition, Hard Rain, Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution and Borderlands: Ultimate Edition in the last month.
