Now TV Sky Sports Week Pass announced

Sky has announced it is launching a Sky Now TV Sports Week Pass, for just £1 more than its current Day Pass as an introductory offer.

The new Sky Sports Week Pass offers access to all  7 Sky Sports channels for a 7 days period. This includes the new Sky Sports 5 and Sky Sports News HQ, which both launch tomorrow.

For a limited time, the Sky Sports Week Pass will be offered at £10.99. That’s just £1 more than the usual £9.99 Day Pass.

Sky states that initially the Week Pass will only be available via the Sky Now TV website. Once you’ve activated it, you can then enjoy the Sky Sports content across all compatible devices aside from Apple TV set top boxes.

Although the Day Pass is usually a penny shy is £10, during this introductory phase, Sky is reducing the cost of the Day Pass to £6.99.

These special prices will be offered until November 27, so at least you can watch big sporting events like The 2014 Ryder Cup in September and of course the start of the Premier League football season in the approaching days.

“With the start of the football season just days away, this is great to be giving sports fans even more choice,” Gidon Katz, Director of NOW TV. “We know our sports fans are hungry for more flexibility in how they watch sports and the new Sky Sports Week Pass offers just that. Now fans simply have to decide if they want to snack on a day pass or feast on a week’s sport for just £10.99.”

Sky Now TV is available on the Sky Now TV box, iOS and Android devices, both Xbox and PlayStation consoles, YouView boxes, LG Smart TVs and Roku boxes among other devices.

New channel Sky Sports 5 will be dedicated to showing up to600 live football matches for the UEFA EURO 2016, UEFA Champions League qualifiers among other European football leagues.
