Nokia's as yet unannounced D1C smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench, revealing mid-range specs.

The device was seen on the benchmarking site last week, seemingly confirming reports the company is planning on launching four Android-based devices before the end of 2016.

The phone looks to be a decidedly mid-range offering, with a Qualcomm octa-core 1.4GHz processor and Adreno 505 GPU. It also looks likely to be equipped with 3GB of RAM and run Android 7.0 Nougat.

GeekBench gave the D1C a 656 score for single-core performance and 3,120 score in multi-core performance. Based on our own GeekBench tests it sits close to the OnePlus X and Moto X Play.

This isn’t the first unannounced Nokia phone that’s been spotted on Geekbench. Back in August two different Nokia devices – a Nokia 5320 and a Nokia 1490 – both running Android appeared on the test site.

Unlike the D1C, the Nokia 5320 looks to be a higher-end device, with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 powering it. However, until the handsets are officially announced we can’t confirm anything for sure.
