When we saw the Nokia Lumia 900 at CES earlier this month, we wondered if it would ever make it to the UK, considering it supported the 4G LTE network in the US, and as we all know, this isn’t something UK customers will be able to take advantage of for many years to come.
But, it seems as if we will get the 4.3in Windows Phone 7 handset after all. If a new page on the Carphone Warehouse website is anything to go by then the Lumia 900 will be arriving in June.
The new landing page (below) on the website appeared last night inviting customers to pre-register for interest in the new phone. However the page has now been removed with no mention of the phone anywhere on the site.
We’ve been in touch with the press office at Carphone Warehouse and are waiting to hear back from them to clarify if the phone will indeed be coming to the UK.
If the phone does come to the UK then we expect it to ship without LTE on board as it would be a bit of a waste of time, except for those small clusters of people living in an area where 4G testing is being carried out. Also no mention of the 4G feature was mentioned on the new landing page.
