Speak to any Nintendo Wii U owner; they won’t be afraid to tell you how much they love the system and why they love it.
In fact those folks will probably do a far better job of extolling the virtues of the system than Nintendo has since announcing the Wii U back in 2011.
Nintendo freely admits it got the message wrong with the Wii U and has vowed to make amends when the NX arrives in early 2017.

"One of the things that we have to do better when we launch the NX," Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime told AList (via Eurogamer), "[is] we have to do a better job communicating the positioning for the product."
If that sounds like marketing gobbledygook to you, then what he really means is explaining to you why you want one.
Fils-Amie also said Nintendo needs to communicate to gamers what the new experience will bring in terms of uniqueness.
He added: "We have to do a better job helping people to understand its uniqueness and what that means for the game playing experience."
While all of this sounds like pretty basic stuff, these are all things Nintendo failed at miserably during the Wii U launch period. There’s even more pressure to get it right with the NX because of what promises to be an even greater divergence from what gamers are used to.
Nintendo looks set to take the handheld component a step further by allowing gamers to use it both inside and outside of the home.
The final part of Fils-Amie’s plan is to ensure the long delays for first-party content are left firmly in the Wii U era.
"[Nintendo must] have that continuous beat of great new games that are motivating more and more people to pick up the hardware and more and more people to pick up the software," he added. "Those are the critical lessons."
