Nintendo to reveal E3 2015 plans on Wednesday

Nintendo will reveal what it has in store for this year’s E3 2015 expo, during a planned announcement tomorrow.

The gaming giant’s plans are a mystery given it has already ruled out announcing further information on the Nintendo NX console or its planned expansion into mobile gaming.

However, while those exciting propositions will not be mentioned, the Nintendo of America Twitter account says whatever it does have lined up for the June 16-18 show will be foreshadowed on Wednesday at 9am PT (5PM UK time)

“Who’s training for E3? Find out our plans for E3 tomorrow at 9 a.m. PT!,” the tweet (via Polygon), posted on Tuesday reads, alongside a photo of NoA president Reggie Fils Amie shadow-boxing in a pink tracksuit.

Whether Nintendo plans to actually hold a press event at the Los Angeles gaming gathering remains to be seen.

The firm ditched a physical conference at the show during E3 2014 and settled for a streamed Nintendo Digital Event press conference.

As well as playing down talk of the NX or mobile gaming, Nintendo has also decided against showing off its forthcoming Zelda game for the Wii U. It was planed for release later in 2015, but delays have pushed Link’s latest adventure back into 2016.
