It appears that UK retail chain GAME has been notified of the wholesale price for Nintendo’s next console with plans to sell it starting at £199.
This news comes from two sources speaking to LPVG, one of which has been “vetted seriously” before the outlet decided to report on the matter.
It’s important to note that this isn’t Nintendo’s RRP for Switch, as retailers aren’t allowed to set the RRP price for major consoles.
That being said, it's a fairly solid indication of the Switch’s potential launch price, and notably competitive to boot.

Both sources at LPVG also claim that Switch Pro Controllers will be sold for £39.99 at launch, and may be included in specific console bundles.
Our money is on Nintendo selling a basic bundle for £199, with peripherals and games included with more expensive premium bundles.
We wouldn’t say no to a brand-spanking new console with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for £249.
None of the above is confirmed, but it’s a positive sign that Nintendo is striving to be competitive in today's market.
