Ninja Turtles: Mutants of Manhattan trailer shows off nostalgic bosses

Activision has released a new gameplay trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, ahead of its release on May 27.

Developed by Platinum Games, the upcoming multiplayer-action title is bound to resonate with fans of the Heroes in the Half-Shell.

The new trailer features a number of iconic villains, including Rocksteady, Bebop and everyone’s favourite big bad: Shredder.

The trailer also gives us a first look at mutant-alien bat Wingnut, a snapping turtle called Slash and Karai, a female ninja.

You can look forward to fast-paced brawling with up to four players in online co-op, or you can go at it solo as any of the four turtles.

Having previously worked on Bayonetta 2 and Transformers Devastation, Platinum Games should have no problem tackling the fun, frantic action of the Ninja Turtles universe.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will be available on May 24 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
