New spy shots show Gold iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus

iPhone 7

Hardly a day goes by without an iPhone 7 leak, and although we've already been introduced to what looks like Apple's new A10 processor today, the leakers aren't quite finished, it seems.

New photos via Letem Svetem Applem and MacRumours appear to reveal the iPhone 7 and its larger counterpart, the iPhone 7 Plus, in all their golden glory.

Yes, the latest, high-res shots showcase the gold colour option, which makes a slight change from the usual blurry shots of Rose Gold dummy units.

And while there's no way to confirm whether these photos are authentic or not, they're probably not far off what the final units will look like, judging by previous leaks.

That is to say, they show the same curved antenna lines, that now follow the edges of the case, which have appeared in numerous 'leaked' photos and videos from recent months.

The images originated from mobile peripheral website Topp Ten, which also claims the upcoming handset will come in a blue colour option.

Various reports have previously made the same assertion, but many conflicting reports have claimed the new colour will actually be an updated version of Apple's Space Black hue.

Either way, these latest images tell us nothing about such a change, displaying, as they do, both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in Gold – the latter of which is depicted with the oft-rumoured dual-camera setup.

Whereas previous rumours had Apple preparing to release three models of the iPhone 7, the extra version being a 'Pro' model, which was said to be the dual-camera version, reputed leaker Evan Blass has since ruled this out as nonsense.

Apple is expected to launch the new handset in early September, possibly on September 7.
