Nokia teases event for July 23

Nokia has teased yet another new Windows Phone device to launch at a special breakfast event in London tomorrow.

An undisclosed Nokia device will be launching tomorrow according to the Nokia Conversations blog, but fails to offer any further details.

Although Nokia has failed to give any hints as to what the product is, the Finnish smartphone manufacturer has included a picture of the Nokia logo on a red background – potentially the back of a smartphone.

“We can’t tell you what it is yet. But we can tell you when. Tune in tomorrow at 9am UK time. See you then!” reads the Nokia Conversations blog.

The blog post is titled “Something BIG landing here tomorrow”, could be the launch of the rumoured 4.7-inch display Nokia phablet device.

Running Windows Phone 8, the large screen device would have the biggest display in the Nokia Lumia range, even bigger than the recently unveiled Nokia Lumia 1020.

With a 4.7-inch screen it still wouldn’t be as large as any of the so-called phablet devices currently on the market, like the Sony Xperia Z Ultra or Samsung Galaxy Mega. In fact, it would be beaten in terms of screen estate by the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4.

From the looks of the picture, the launch could well be for a new version of the entry-level Nokia Lumia 620.

Tipped to be called the Nokia Lumia 625, following in the footsteps of the Nokia Lumia 925 naming scheme, it will supposedly pack a 1.2Ghz processor with 512MB of RAM and a 2,000mAh battery.

That will build on the 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU with 512MB of RAM featured in the 3.8-inch Nokia Lumia 620.

Whatever the product Nokia unveils tomorrow, TrustedReviews will be on hand to bring you all the latest news straight from the breakfast event.
