BioWare has offered some fresh Dragon Age: Inquisition gameplay details during the EA GamesCom 2014 press conference.
Taking to the stage, BioWare’s Aaryn Flynn offered an extended look at the upcoming Dragon Age title, explaining that it’s the “biggest and most ambitious game” the Edmonton developer has ever made.
“At Bioware we’ve always focused on making games that take people on a journey” said Flynn.
With nine companions by your side, players in Dragon Age: Inquisition will encounter millions of character combinations when creating their hero.
You can choose from 9 class specialisations and there are 200 spells, 200 weapon upgrades and over 150 armour combinations to play with to make the character exactly reflect your play style.
We particularly like the fact you can name the weapons that you’ve created.
Even the game’s stronghold, Skyfold, is customisable and will be the area that you use to choose missions.
As for battles, you can take advantage of the Tactical Camera, which allows you to pause the action and choose how your comrades engage in each fight – e.g Stealth to attack the archers on top of the above stairs.
The Dragon Age: Inquisition release date has been set for November 18 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
