New Assassin’s Creed Unity trailer to celebrate Bastille Day

Ubisoft has released a brand new Assassin’s Creed Unity trailer for the single-player campaign to celebrate Bastille Day.

The trailer, although it doesn’t offer any new information on the gameplay, apart from showing new Assassins Arno Dorian prowling through the crowds and felling enemies with flick knifes, certainly incites the feeling of revolution.

“For centuries, my countrymen have suffered under the oppression of an
arrogant and decadent aristocracy,” Dorian narrates. “The
common people cry out for food, for liberty, for justice. But they shall
have no justice without someone to fight in their name.”

The upcoming Assassin’s Creed game is set during the French Revolution in 1793 in Paris and will see Dorian making people find the courage to stand up and fight against their oppressive rulers.

“Discover Arno as he fights for justice and raises people’s hope for freedom and unity,” reads the YouTube blurb for the latest trailer.

The Assassin’s Creed Unity release date is set for October 28 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC and until then Ubisoft will no doubt drip feed us with new information on the title.

At E3 the published revealed the game would feature four player co-op, so that some missions can be experienced and completed with friends – a first for the Assassin’s Creed series.
