New 3DS Ambassador Bundle coming to EU this month

Nintendo Europe is offering the New 3DS Ambassador Bundle to select EU Nintendo Club customers this month.

The New 3DS will be available early to Nintendo’s “most loyal customers”, according to emails sent out to select Club Nintendo users.

Nintendo has issued a select number of Club Nintendo users with a special limited time offer for the New 3DS Ambassador Bundle.

Currently the New 3DS is only listed with a vague 2015 release date for the UK, Europe and the US, but according to the screencapped emails sent to Joystiq, it might arrive a lot sooner than we first thought.

The New 3DS Ambassador Bundle for the EU though is due to be shipped to Nintendo Club special ones by January 23.

The price for the Nintendo Club Ambassador’s Bundle comes in at £179.99 (€200) and comes with the new 3DS in white, a 4GB microSD card for storing games and other content, AR cards, a charging cradle, Super Smash Bros. cover plates for the front and back of the console and a special bundle-exclusive Ambassador Edition cover plate set.

Nintendo states that the bundle itself has a value of around £156, which may be the actual price of the new 3DS when it hits shelves in the UK later this year.

The specially chosen Nintendo Club members are paying a small premium to get their hands on the new 3DS earlier than the rest of the world.

Anyone who believes they should be one of Nintendo’s chosen ones can check their eligibility here.

The new 3DS was launched in Japan back in October 2014, and has since been released in Australia and New Zealand.

We still have no confirmed release date for the new 3DS in the UK, US or Europe.
