Netflix has announced a new way to pay for your streaming goodies a la a pay-as-you-go giftcard system.
Previously, the only way to access Netflix was to either hand over your debit or credit card information, or sign up using PayPal.
Now, however, you can purchase the Netflix Card, which is offered in three prepaid amounts – £15, £25, or £50.

The Netflix Card will be available to purchase from physical retailers across the country, including Morrisons, ASDA, WHSmith, GAME and Argos.
You can use the cards to add credit to an existing Netflix account as well as opening a new one.
Members will receive the Netflix service as long as the card balance lasts – when the credit is fully used, the member can choose to put new credit on the account with a Netflix card or choose one of the other payment methods available.
Currently, you can pay for a standard definition version of Netflix with one stream for £5.99.
Two screens simultaneously with high-definition content costs £7.49 each month, while £8.99 per month gets you four streams and includes Ultra HD 4K content.

To use the Netflix Card, you scratch off the back after purchase and enter it at Netflix’s website.
Netflix says its card doesn’t affect the free first month offer and claims there are “no strings attached”.
