Naughty Dog has publicly declared it would love to make a Half-Life game and even asked Valve for the license.
Neil Druckmann, Creative Director at Naughty Dog, has expressed his interest in making a new game in the Half-Life franchise.
In fact, Druckmann recently headed to Twitter to publicly declare Naughty Dog's interest in Half-Life - a Valve IP.
It's good to remember that Druckmann is the genius behind The Last of Us' story and is currently working on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

The statement was a retweet quoting actress Merle Dandridge, who is well-known for portraying Alyx Vance in Half-Life and Marlene in The Last of Us.
Now we're not saying Half-Life 3, but we really are saying Half-Life 3. Come on Naughty Dog.
Fans have been waiting for what feels like an eternity for Half-Life 3, or any new Half-Life series content for that matter. We'd take Half-Life 2 Episode 3 at this stage.
Half-Life 2 is well-known for its impeccable design and story, and it's really not a great surprise that industry talents like Duckmann are sniffing around Valve's dormant IP.
Hopefully this is something that could happen one day, or Valve could just hurry up and make Half-Life 3.
