In the midst of nVidia's breaking notebook GPUs and high-end GeForce GTX 260 and GeForce GTX 280 getting a price drop the company has also managed to sneak out some new mid-range offerings. Alongside the launch of the GeForce 9800 GTX+ (pictured) two more GPUS are hitting the streets, namely the upper-mId-range 9800 GT and low-end 9500 GT.

Specs wise the new cards line up as follows:

nVidia GeForce 9500 GT
* 550MHz core clock
* 32 stream processors
* 1,400MHz
* 512MB GDDR2, 256MB or 512MB GDDR3 RAM
* 128-bit memory interface
* 500MHz (DDR2) or 1.6GHz (DDR3) memory clock

nVidia GeForce 9800 GT
* 600MHz core clock
* 112 stream processors
* 1,500MHz
* 512MB GDDR3 RAM
* 256-bit memory interface
* 1.8GHz memory clock

nVidia GeForce 9800 GTX+
* 738MHz core clock
* 128 stream processors
* 1,836MHz
* 512MB GDDR3 RAM
* 256-bit memory interface
* 2.2GHz memory clock

All three cards offer support for CUDA applications, such as Elemental Technologies' Badaboom GPU-accelerated video encoding software and, of course, PhysX and sport PureVideo decoding, for video playback.

Price wise the 9500 GT, 9800 GT and 9800 GTX+ are hitting around £60, £100 and £130 respectively at various retailers online. That sits fairly well with the rest of nVidia's (and ATI's for that matter) range, which will likely see some older cards, such as the 8600- and 8400- series discontinued in the near future.
