With third-gen Moto X rumours spreading like wildfire, Motorola has seemingly stoked the flames by slashing the current model’s price.
Celebrating the summer months with a number of price cuts, Motorola has confirmed that if you snap up either the Moto X and Moto-made Nexus 6 over the coming weeks, you’ll have a fair chunk of change left in your wallet.
For those after the Moto X, there are savings up to £166 to be made, while Nexus 6 fanciers can cut their spending by £80.
As part of the seasonal sale, the 16GB and 32GB Moto X 2014 models are available for £229 and £269 respectively, down from £395 and £435.
Nexus 6 prices have dropped to £399 and £469 for the 32GB and 64GB options, down from £479 and £549.
Unlike Motorola’s last quarterly sale, the company’s Moto 360 smartwatch is not involved this time around.
Although not permanent price drops, these sales rates will be available for the rest of the month, assuming stocks remain.
The sale kicks off at 00:01 tomorrow morning, 17 June, running until 23:59 on 30 June.

In recent weeks, rumours have surfaced around the mooted introduction of the third-gen Moto X.
It has been suggested that the handset will land with a largely unchanged design later this summer, with an integrated fingerprint scanner and improved camera unit expected to be two key areas of improvement.
