There’s a been a lot of Moto X4 leaks of late as Motorola seemingly prepares to bring back the Moto X range after two years.
We’ve had a few renders so far, too, but now it seems we have been given a look at the final design for the 2017 Moto X, along with a list of specs.
Android Authority has got its hands on what it says are confirmed details for the phone, via an “exclusive source”.

While Motorola looked to have dropped the X-range in favour of the Moto Z line, it seems the upcoming Moto X will be a strong offering from the company that firmly re-establishes the line.
According to the source, the phone will come packing a 5.2-inch FHD display that boasts Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Internally, you’ll be getting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor backed up by an Adreno 508 GPU, though RAM and storage is said to vary by region.
In fact, there will apparently be four global variants of the phone. According to the report, Europe, North America, and Latin America will be getting 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the Asia Pacific region will apparently get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Other features reportedly include a fingerprint sensor, IP68 dust and water-proofing, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.0µm pixel size.
That selfie shooter, said to be designed for capturing good low-light shots, also shoots 4k video at 30 frames per second, or Full HD video at 60 frames per second, according to the report.
It’s also claimed the rear camera is a dual setup with a 12-megapixel sensor boasting dual autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture, and a 1.4µm pixel size alongside an 8-megapixel counterpart.
We’ve even seemingly been gifted with dimension for the Moto X4, which apparently comes in at 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.99mm and weighs 163 grams.
You can check out the above render for what is claimed to be the phone’s final design, and you’ll reportedly be able to pick up the device in either Super Black or Sterling Blue.
A glass backing and “contoured design” should mean the phone looks pretty impressive in real life, too, while the 3000mAh battery is a pretty standard offering for a smartphone in 2017.
The cell is said to offer TurboCharging, however, and will reportedly provide hours of on-time after a few minutes of charging.
Unfortunately, there’s no more details on when the phone will actually go on sale, so stay tuned in the coming weeks for updates.

At this point, it’s also worth making clear that Motorola is yet to confirm any of this as accurate, so the pinch of salt approach applies here.
