“Let’s do something better,” is the mantra of this video previewing Lenovo’s IFA 2016 line-up. With that in mind, it’s about time the Chinese firm delivered a better Moto 360 smartwatch after two promising, but ultimately underwhelming, releases to date.
The 50-second clip, encourages us to expect a huge array of improvements from both the Moto and Lenovo brands, including the Android Wear-based Moto 360, last revamped at last year's event.
There’ll also be new Motomods, the magnetic modular smartphone add-ons debuted with the Moto Z releases in June.
So far there’s been a projector, a JBL-speaker and a power pack delivering an extra day of battery life.
Moto has promised countless more Modomods including a projected keyboard, a dock that turns it into a desktop PC, a blood pressure monitor and an LED that mirrors what’s on the front of the phone.
The camera mod tipped prior to the release has yet to emerge, so perhaps we’ll see that at IFA 2016?
On the Lenovo side of things, the company is promising “new chapter in tablets,” and a “whole new kind of intuitive keyboard.”
The company’s press conference will take place on August 31, where we’ll apparently see what makes Lenovo “different for the sake of better.”
