A new version of Mortal Kombat X featuring all DLC is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this spring.

The XL edition will not only include the base game, but will also come with all available DLC, NetherRealm announced yesterday.

NetherRealm has released a small trailer describing what can be found in the game, such as the upcoming Kombat Pack 2.

Each Kombat pack contains a total of four new characters, which we have included below if you fancy taking a look.

Kombat Pack 1:

  • Jason Voorhees

  • Predator

  • Tanya

  • Tremor

Kombat Pack 2:

  • Leatherface

  • Xenomorph

  • Bo Rai Chi

  • Tri-Borg

We can’t wait to tear up people as Alien’s Xenomorph, fingers crossed for an acid blood-related fatality.

XL edition is coming to PS4 and Xbox One in March, but will not be coming to PC at all.

It seems NetherRealm has completely withdrawn support for the platform, as it will no longer receive any future DLC updates.

The PC version was a bit of a mess at launch, and Warner Bros has failed to provide proper fixes for a number of issues since then.

Considering over 500,000 people own the game on PC, it feels kind of dirty to leave them behind without saying a word.

Players in the competitive scene regard the PC version as unplayable. They instead opt for the more stable console iterations.
