mojoe is a travel mug and coffee maker in one

How much do you spend on takeaway tea and coffee? Chances are it’s a lot. If so, mojoe could save you a fortune.

It’s a travel mug that also makes tea and coffee. Add your own ground coffee or tea, and power it from a wall socket, from your car using the adapter, or using the rechargeable battery. Then you can drink straight from it, so no need to pour it into one of those cup lids.

Its two-reservoir design means your coffee and water remain separate until you want to start brewing. It has a heat-resistant hand grip with non-slip coating, and LEDs to show what’s happening – green means it’s on and brewing, red means the contents are hot.

If you want to fill it on the go, you can use mojoe’s To-Go Sticks, which are little sachets of coffee. Or you could steal some from any hotel rooms you stay in. (Note: we don’t advocate stealing coffee sachets from hotel rooms.)

You don’t need to fill it with boiling water either. Just pour in water from a plastic bottle, and it’ll heat it up inside.

The firm has already finished the engineering, design and tooling, so it only needs $20,000 for the finishing touches and to ramp up production. It’s already raised almost $3,000 and has 45 days to go. Get in early, and you can nab one for $69 (£46). It should ship in May.
