Here’s one way to make your TV smart: plug in a memory stick the size of your thumb (if you have large thumbs, that is) that matches the power of an affordable tablet or smartphone and runs Ice Cream Sandwhich.

The MK802 is a USB drive which has excellent reason to show a bit more bulk than your average flash drive, as it not only packs a 1.5GHz A10 CPU, but also 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage expandable via microSD or USB.

That should be plenty of power to run HD video and quite a few apps, and as the MK802 comes with Ice Cream Sandwich - AKA Android 4 - pre-installed you’ll be able to enjoy them on the slickest version of Google’s mobile OS. We can imagine this little device making a nice pair with a 1.5TB portable hard drive for a flexible media player on the go…

The best news is that this miniature marvel will only set you back $74 (around £46) from the likes of AliExpress.com, as free shipping is included to quite a few countries including the US and UK. We just hope it makes its way to better-known retailers soon.

This reminds me very much of the Raspberry Pi!
For extra versatility, I wounder if you can put another other OS on it?

Great, but how do you interact with the android interface? Presumably it's not touchscreen...

The MK802 is a COPY. Just a fake product. The original is Zero Devices Z802. This is the manufacturer website: http://www.zero-devices.com Take care because if you buy MK802 it can be blocked at customs and destroyed because copy. If quantity is big maybe also need to pay some hundred bucks to customs agents. Find Zero Devices Z802 on Google and buy only original products (AsiaPads sells this model original version for just $76). Regards
