Mirror’s Edge Catalyst trailer explores the gorgeous City of Glass

Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new trailer for the upcoming game detailing Faith’s character, background and more.

DICE sure know how to make a beautiful world. The bold colours and creative architecture of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst are on full display in a new developer diary for the game.

The short trailer provides us with a glimpse of the game’s characters, story and multiple enemy factions.

It seems Catalyst will place a tighter focus on character-driven storytelling as you dig into the past of protagonist Faith Connors.

Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst is set to release on May 26 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The long-awaited sequel will feature a completely overhauled combat system, engineered in such a way that players must prioritise fast-paced parkour mechanics to outsmart enemies.

Unlike its predecessor, Catalyst will include a fully-fledged open world for players to jump around in and explore.

A closed beta for the game will take place before release, and you can register now by signing up here.
