Mirror’s Edge Catalyst closed beta announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC

Electronic Arts has confirmed that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will receive a closed beta on PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year.

Registration for the upcoming beta is now open, allowing you to sign up for either PS4, Xbox One or PC.

Keep in mind that you will need to sign in or create an EA account in order to register.

Electronic Arts and DICE are yet to announce a starting date for the beta period, which will take place before the game’s release on May 24.

The announcement comes shortly after a strange tweet from the Mirror’s Edge Twitter account earlier this week.

EA’s tweet contained an image featuring the hand of protagonist Faith Connors, complete with a quote stating, “Come on girl. Save us all.”

It’s an odd way to announce a beta, but it doesn’t make us any less excited.

Specific details of the beta are yet to be confirmed. It should give a small taste of the game’s colourful open world though.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst was originally scheduled to launch on February 23, but was delayed to apply additional polish and detail to the game.

It will now be available on May 24 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Electronic Arts has also released a new story trailer, which you can check out below.
