The long-awaited Minecraft: Story Mode game has arrived on mobile devices, following its roll-out on consoles and the Steam platform earlier this week.
The episodic-version of Mojang’s building game was made by Telltale Games, which also created spin offs for Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Back to the Future.
Episode 1 is available on iOS and Android from today for £3.99/$4.99, while users can also snap up the 5 episode season pass for £19.99/$24.99.

In the Story Mode, rather than just build in the open world, gamers will embark on a “perilous adventure across Overworked, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond,” according to the game’s description.
Users will be able to choose options that define their own adventures. Gamers will be able to choose what their characters say and what they do in different moments throughout the game.

“You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, you and your friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful.
The game has array of voice talent, including comedian Patton Oswald and Ashley Johnson, who played the role of Ellie in The Last of Us.
The Story Mode is also now available on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam.
