Microsoft has big plans for Minecraft on its emerging HoloLens AR headset, but those favouring full on VR will also be able to jump on board with the block-based building game.
Speaking on stage at the Oculus Connect conference (via Engadget), Oculus co-founder Palmer Luckey announced the Windows 10 version of Minecraft will be available on the Rift headset.
Microsoft had previously committed to supporting the HTC Vive VR headset, so adding Oculus certainly makes sense.

Luckey didn’t demonstrate the game on stage, beyond the announcement, so there’s little in the way of details right now.
Microsoft has committed to bringing the phenomenally successful game to as many platforms as possible, since snapping it up from Mojang for $2 billion last year.
