Microsoft Surface Book now on sale in the UK

Microsoft’s Surface Book laptop has finally gone on sale in the UK, more than four months after being announced.

The Surface Book is a very high-specced laptop. Its 13.5-inch screen features PixelSense, which is the same technology found in the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It has a 3,000 x 2,000-pixel resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio and 10-point multi-touch.

Its pixel density of 267ppi is higher than a MacBook Pro.

Microsoft claims that the device’s processor and dedicated GPU make the Surface Book twice as fast as the MacBook Pro. It’s certainly not lacking on the grunt front. It boasts an optional Nvidia GeForce GPU and integrated Intel HD 520 graphics. Also onboard are 1GB of GDDR5 RAM and Intel Skylake i5 and i7 options.
