Microsoft is rumoured to be bringing an iOS version of the Office suite to market, and it'll reportedly arrive in November.
According to BGR, Microsoft is working on an iPad version of its Office Suite. Until now, iOS users have had to make to witth third-party solutions offering less-than-perfect compatibility with the desktop package's features. Could this be the end of all that?
Although a dead-cert popular app, Microsoft has thus-far shied away from bringing its workforce staple to iPhones and iPads. And the reason is pretty obvious - it doesn't need to give iOS any more ammunition against its own Windows 8 and Windows Phone platforms.
Microsoft has not confirmed this rumour, and the conjecture itself suggests only that Microsoft Office is coming to "iOS", which impies that it may come to both iPhone and iPad.
BGR writes that the Microsoft Office app will also come to Android tablets, pointing towards a realisation within camp Microsoft that it needs to sleep with - rather than stab - the enemy.
