Microsoft Event Livestream 2015: Where to watch Lumia & Surface launch

Microsoft’s device strategy for the past year has left many of us wanting, but the tech giant is nearly ready to re-enter the market.

The company is plotting a number of major product releases at an event scheduled for today – Tuesday, October 6.

Windows 10, the universal operating system, will finally have some Microsoft-branded mobile devices to run on.

Microsoft is hoping to conjure up some serious publicity for Windows 10 Mobile with its new products.

As such, it’s no surprise that the company is offering a dedicated livestream for everyone to watch.

What to expect from today’s Microsoft launch

We’re expecting a raft of new devices, including the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, long-awaited high-end Microsoft smartphones.

It’s also rumoured that we’ll see the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, the first Surface to ship with Windows 10 at launch.

The device is expected to feature Intel’s new Skylake chipsake, and boast a thinner, lighter form.

Also heavily tipped to appear is the second-generation Microsoft Band – the Band 2.
