Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella “fully on board with gaming”
The Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is fully behind the company’s focus on gaming, according to a new interview.
You don’t need to worry about Nadella’s commitment to gaming, as he’s “fully on board” with Microsoft’s increased gaming push.
The reassurance comes from a senior manager at Xbox Live, during a new interview with Business Insider.
“He is fully on board with gaming,” said Senior Global Product Manager, Mike Lavin.
Back in 2014, some reports suggested that Microsoft was considering selling off its Xbox division.
However, Nadella quickly quashed those rumours when he was appointed CEO, saying that he had “no intent to do anything different on Xbox than we are doing today” back in May 2014.

The Xbox One is becoming more and more an integral part of the Microsoft ecosystem, and that’s particularly prevalent in November.
Next month, the Xbox One is getting its own version of Windows 10, putting Microsoft’s operating system at the core of the console.
That’s the same Windows 10 that runs on PC, tablets and eventually smartphones with Windows 10 Mobile.
It means that eventually Xbox One will get the same universal apps as other Windows 10 devices, making it even more of the all round entertainment console.
