Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain first look revealed at Xbox One E3 event

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has been given a first look at Microsoft’s Xbox One E3 event, revealing further features of upcoming game.

Snake is back for the Xbox One in Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain which has been given the first look at the Microsoft E3 press briefing.

“Metal Gear Solid will shine with the Xbox One’s graphic power and unique features,” said Hideo Kojima, Director of Kojima Productions.

Metal Gear Solid 5 features a Snake that is “burning with revenge” and introduces various modes of transport never been seen before in a MGS game.

The game will also be the first to be given a completely open world, and from what we’ve seen during the Xbox One Metal Gear Solid 5 trailer, it strongly reminds us of a MGS version of the Red Dead Redemption world.

It will have real time weather and a realistic passage of time, moving through night and day within that open world and varied landscape.

Said to be “tactical espionage redefined”, Metal Gear Solid 5 allows gamers to experience “unparalleled strategic freedom” and “deeper stealth action” than available in previous MGS titles.

Introducing new characters including villain Skull Face, Snake will also be accompanied and aided by characters like Emmerich, Eli, Code Talker and Ocelot.

Also Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will also feature dynamic close quarter combat that allows the game to react depending on the actions the gamer takes to achieve that kill.

Keifer Sutherland will now voice Snake, replacing David Hayter who has voiced the character for all the existing titles.

Any details of a Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain release date for the Xbox One are still unknown, but Trusted Reviews will keep you posted.
