Medion Lifetab E7310 launched as £77 7-inch tablet, exclusive to Asda
Medion has entered the budget tablet arena with the 7-inch Medion Lifetab E7310, retailing for £77.
Launching today, the £77 Medion tablet will be the latest to rival the Argos MyTablet and Tesco Hudl.
It’s available from Asda, in-store and online, from November 15 and offers a 7-inch 1024 x 600p resolution screen.
Medion Lifetab E7310 Features
The Medion Lifetab E7310 features a 1.4GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor and has 8GB of internal memory, which can be bolstered using microSD cards up to 64GB.
This is the slowest processor of the budget tablets, with the Hudl and MyTablet both offering faster clock speeds than the Medion alternative.
Running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the Lifetab E7310 has a 7-inch display with a 1,024 x 600p resolution. This matches the display of the Argos MyTablet, but is beaten by the 7-inch 1440 x 900p HD display of the Tesco Hudl.
For tablet photography fans, the Medion Lifetab has a 2-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing snapper for video calling.
The Lifetab E7310 also features USB 2.0, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity within a 305g body.
Medion is also offering an extended 24-month warranty on the Lifetab E7310 as standard, which is a nice addition.
Medion Lifetab E7310 Price and Release Date
The Medion Lifetab E7310 is priced at £77 and is available from Asda from Friday, November 15.
Just as a comparison, the Tesco Hudl is £119 and the Argos MyTablet is £99.99.
