BioWare has confirmed the Mass Effect Andromeda name during the EA E3 2015 press conference.
Having been called Mass Effect 4 for the past couple of years, we finally know that we can call the game Andromeda.
Opening the EA Games press conference at this year’s E3, Mass Effect Andromeda was showcased with a trailer highlighting the game’s focus on exploration.
The trailer showcased a variety of landscapes ranging from a barren wasteland to a land littered with burning vehicle carcasses.
You also see the bio-enhancements that we’ve become so familiar with in the Mass Effect series ut to use in a battle scene.

Of course, what gave the game away was the character turning to face the camera with the N7 logo emblazoned on her chest. That means we’re going to be connected to Shepard somehow surely?
Alongside the name, we also found out that the next Mass Effect will arrive in the holiday season of 2016.
So we won’t see a 2015 release for Mass Effect Andromeda, but at least we know we should have it in our demanding mitts before the close of next year. We’ve got everything crossed.
