Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay details leaked?

Some Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay details may have been leaked online, but we’re not sure about their authenticity.

A potentially huge new Mass Effect Andromeda leak may have just given us some hints as to the gameplay content.

The information comes via a new post on Reddit. The people behind it claim to have been in contact with an unknown individual with a “very early edition” of the game.

However, before you get too excited, the fact that the game isn’t due out until Christmas 2016 and BioWare has kept the game very much under wraps, we’re not too convinced about the authenticity of this information.

But, seeing as we’re just as excited about Andromeda as you lot, we thought we’d report it anyway.

According to the new info, the game will include two companion characters as was the case with the original Mass Effect trilogy.

But, this time around, everyone will have jetpacks at their disposal – highlighting the game’s focus on exploration. Andromeda will also feature destructible scenery, and offer greater detail in character facial features and models.

The new ship of the game will be much larger than the Normandy and feature “Pathfinder Quarters”, which is supposedly how the main character of the game is referred to.

You’ll also need to manually fly the ship around the new travel system, as opposed to the old galaxy map and cutscene travelling.

As for the storyline it seems that Cerberus might be making another appearance, while the main enemy are a bipedal cross between Vorcha and Collectors.
