Mass Effect 4 and Mirror’s Edge 2 should launch before March 2016 according to prominent gaming analysts.
According to notorious game industry analyst Michael Pachter and his team, we should expect Mass Effect 4, Mirror’s Edge 2 and even Star Wars: Battlefront before this time next year.
In a new report posted by research company Wedbush, Pachter and co said:
“EA’s strong presence on the next-gen consoles positions the company to thrive in coming years”.
“FY:16 is expected to feature incremental releases Mass Effect 4, Mirror’s Edge 2, a new Need for Speed game, and Star Wars: Battlefront, as well as meaningful re-orders for Battlefield Hardline, which launched in late Q4:15”.
For EA, the Financial Year 2016 runs from April 2015 to March 2016, but Pachter doesn’t go as far as to suggest whether the top titles will be launched in 2015 or early next.

However, it is rumoured that we should expect a new Need for Speed game to launch before Christmas. Star Wars: Battlefront is scheduled for a “holiday 2015” release.
Mirror’s Edge 2 was announced back at E3 2013 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC and EA confirmed it would follow the origin story of the first game’s protogonist Faith.
Mass Effect on the other hand has been long teased but never actually formally named, and promises to build on the experiences provided by the originally triology.
Star Wars: Battlefront will be officially shown at the Star Wars Celebration on April 16 – 19 in Anaheim, California.
“We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it,” explained EA Games in a blog post.
