Mario Maker may not launch as early as originally planned, according to the Nintendo earnings statement.
Nintendo has revealed that Mario Maker may miss its scheduled “first half of 2015” release date.
Writing in its earnings report on the investor relations site, Nintendo has now listed Mario Maker with a loose 2015 release date.
Previously, the Wii U title was marked for a release in the first half of this year when it was announced at E3 2014 last June.
The same has now been said for the Wii U game Project Guard, which is now listed as a 2015 release. This was a game also announced at last year’s E3.
Mario Maker is a game for Wii U that lets you make your own Super Mario game levels in the style of the NES original or the newer New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World.
Project Guard on the other hand is one of three Wii U GamePad experiments that Shigeru Miyamoto revealed last year.
It puts you in control of a security system that will require careful monitoring of both the GamePad and your TV screen.
