Man City vs Liverpool Live Stream: Watch the Champions League online

Man City vs Liverpool Live Stream: Watch the Champions League online this Tuesday

Jürgen Klopp’s Reds make the short trip to Manchester’s Etihad Stadium tonight, for a game many football fans see as the biggest of the season so far. Our guide reveals all you need to know to watch Man City vs Liverpool online, including full live stream details and the kick-off time.

After tonight’s match, only one British side will remain in this year’s competition. Liverpool have the upper hand, having thrashed the Sky Blues in the first leg of their tie last week, winning 3-0 thanks to a first-half blitz featuring strikes from Mohamed Salah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sadio Mané.

However, not everyone has written off City. The Premier League champions-in-waiting have had the first disastrous week of their season, following up the Liverpool defeat by losing to Man Utd at home, throwing away a two-goal lead and a truly rare opportunity to win the title in front of their arch-rivals in the process.

It’s a very tall order but, despite their recent dip in form, many still believe they’re capable of overcoming the deficit and eliminating Liverpool. The Reds’ backline was magnificent at Anfield last week, but it has stuttered on numerous occasions this season.

City’s ludicrously talented forwards can also cause unspoken damage on their day, but in order to stand a chance they − and Raheem Sterling in particular − can’t afford to be anywhere near as wasteful as they were against Utd.

Watching the big game couldn’t be easier – as long as you’ve got the right TV package.

BT Sport have exclusive rights to this encounter, meaning the match will be shown on BT Sport 2, with coverage starting at 7pm BST and the game kicking off at 7.45pm. If you do subscribe to BT Sport, you’ll also be able to live stream the clash, either via the BT Sport website or the BT Sport app.

Here are the quick-links you need to get started.

Failing that, we fear you’re out of luck. UEFA won a recent injunction against illegal online football streams, meaning that UK ISPs will be required to crack down on pirate Champions League and Europa League feeds. We wouldn’t recommend going down this route anyway, as not only does it fall foul of the law, but it can open you up to all kinds of malware and other digital nasties.

If you haven’t yet signed up for BT Sport, it’s surprisingly affordable – and you can find out how to do so here. Note that it can take a few hours for channels and streaming access to activate after signing up, so act fast to avoid disappointment.
