MacBook Pro with Retina Display Facing Delivery Delays

MacBook Pro with Retina Display Facing Delivery Delays

Apple is well known for having products ready to hit the sweaty palms of customers mere moments after announcement, but it would appear it's having a few issues meeting demand for its new next generation MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

The expected delivery date for it's new flagship laptop has slipped to 3-4 weeks, up from just two a few days ago. Customers may be able to get around the problem by arranging for an in-store pickup but the option is dependent on availability at your local store.

Patience is of course a virtue but having used the new laptop already we must admit that we'd be driven to distraction waiting for delivery had we just dropped £1800 on one.

Thankfully if you're more interested in thin and light, the latest 13in and 11in MacBook Airs are readily available, as are the regular new MacBook Pros.

No, no, no! Have one on order and will put Vienna Symphony Library on it (huge sample library). Hope it will redefine on the road composition and arrangement. Use Angelbirds Wings card on Mac Pro but need fast and capable laptop. Am so looking forward to the new Retina MacBook...
