Sony has confirmed the LittleBigPlanet 3 release date in a brand new trailer at its GamesCom 2014 press conference.
Following the E3 2014 reveal of the game crafting world series entry, Sony has revealed LittleBigPlanet 3 will launch for PS4 on November 18.
Previously, all we were given was a loose November/Christmas release window, but now we can firmly put a date in our diary for the knitted world.
Although that’s pretty exciting, it’s quite interesting that the new trailer seemed to suggest you could modify the powers attributed to the game’s four characters according to the clothes they wear.
The bird character Swoop for example was kitted out with a dragon-esque costume, allowing him to release fireballs in levels.
Toggle, the largest of the four playable LittleBigPlanet 3 characters was given a yeti makeover, and could then split into smaller versions of himself and trickle into gaps LocoRoco style.
We’re yet to see more of these new gameplay details, but hopefully we should see more as GamesCom progresses.
