Google has featured a new transformation of its logo, with an interactive Little Red Riding Hood Google Doodle celebrating the most famous Brothers Grimm fairy tales in storybook form.
Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the often dark and sinister Brothers Grimm fairy tales, the latest interactive Google Doodle has taken over the search giant’s home page with users taken on a picture themed journey through the famous tale.
Featuring 22 stunningly crafted images, bookended by scenes incorporating the Google name, the new Google Doodle, which allows users to scroll back and forth through the story, follows Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm’s now familiar tale of Red Riding Hood’s wolf riddled journey through the forest to visit her grandmother.
Far form the first interactive Google Doodle to grab the public’s attention, past adaptations of the iconic Google logo have seen the site’s branding transformed into a playable Pac Man game, a feature that reportedly cost the global economy hundreds of man hours of lost work.
Other former Google Doodle hits include playing music instruments, a video of giant pumpkins being carved into the Google logo and a wide selection of interactive games, storybooks, video streams and a whole host of graphically impressive static images.
