Libratone, a company known only for its range of Zipp speakers, is getting into the personal audio game.
This morning the firm announced the Q Adapt series headphones and earphones.
The Q Adapt in-ear buds look to have been designed for the new iPhone 7 as they arrive complete with a Lightning adapter rather than a 3.5mm jack.
The earphones offer advanced noise cancelling (ANC) technology and, due to the Lightning connectivity, do not require an additional battery pack.

For example, it can be set to 4 while in the office, or level 1 or 2 when walking or cycling in traffic when some ambient noise is prudent.
In addition to the in-ear offering, the Q Adapt on-ear headphones are wireless and Bluetooth-powered.
They feature the same CityMix ANC while “balancing an ergonomic fit with light weight to allow for all-day use.”
According to the press release, these headphones also feature proximity sensors that cuts the music and the ANC when removed by the wearer, potentially saving on battery life.
They all offer rude-sounding daisy chasing Bluetooth +1 functionality, meaning two users can share music from a single device. There’s also a cable for when the battery dies.
The in-ear headphones are priced at £159 while the Bluetooth on-ear cans are £219. Both are available in October but can be pre-ordered in early September.
