LG may have just teased its forthcoming LG Optimus G2 'phablet' hybrid device prior to a likely CES 2013 debut.
The Korean company has just released a brief preview video to drum up anticipation ahead of its showing at the Consumer Electronics Show, which is being held in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11. LG will be conducting a press conference ahead of the show itself on January 7.
As you can see from the screen grab, LG has a suspiciously smartphone-like device in the works. A very sleek smartphone with an ultra-thin bezel.
The LG Optimus G2 is set to be LG's contribution to the current large-screen HD smartphone trend. It's rumoured to feature a 5.5-inch 1080 display and a quad-core GPU.
Some rumours suggest that the processor could be clocked at a whopping 2GHz and may even be backed by an unprecedented 3GB of RAM. The device is also rumoured to sport a 13-megapixel camera.
