Watch TV through a tree. Kinda.
Much in the same way I’ve never felt the need for a manufacturer to integrate a camcorder into a PMP, I’ve never felt the need to own a TV made out of wood. Unlike the PMP however I’m now fully behind deforestation if it brings us kit like this…
LG is the company behind such tree chopping antics and it will be releasing the ‘60PT1’ which will debut this March in an – admittedly environmentally friendly – limited run of 1,000 units.
Unfortunately, LG has been rather more restrained in releasing its technical details than it has been with its chainsaws since the 60PT1 is otherwise a complete mystery. We do know the ‘60’ refers to 60 inches so this thing’s a monster and it will feature a plasma rather than LCD panel but otherwise that’s it!
It’s not hard to guess that High Definition is going to be on the menu here and I’d suspect – given the size and the exclusivity – we’re getting a Full HD 1080P screen here but don’t count your acorns until more details are logged (sorry).
After all ”wood” you ”beech” the savings you ”squirrelled” away solely on a photo you ”saw”? Nah, that’d be unbe”leaf”able and leave me ”stumped”.
(Please excuse me now, while I do the only honourable thing and shoot myself)
