The LEGO Dimensions E3 trailer is live and includes a whole host of new characters, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Harry Potter and the new Ghostbusters gang.
The trailer confirms the rumours circulating in recent days regarding all the new characters coming in the second wave expansion for the popular toys-to-life game.
The trailer features the A-Team’s B.A. Baracus, the all-female Ghostbusters crew taking down Slimer, The Goonies and plenty of returning characters including Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle back for a new adventure.
However, the inclusion I’m happiest about is Jake the dog and Finn the human from Adventure Time, which will be taking pride of place on the LEGO Dimensions shelf when it launches.
The new wave of LEGO Dimensions toys looks set to arrive this autumn, according to the trailer. The game is currently available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U. Each new pack of toys unlocks fresh gameplay and story content in the game, hopefully this continues with the new wave of toys and players won’t be required to buy an all-new disc-based product.
