Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD coming to Wii U?
Nintendo could be about to announce the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U, according to a new report.
Following the release of Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask and The Wind Waker, we could be in for a Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess revamp in the near future.
Fans have uncovered a series of clues that suggest Nintendo is gearing up to launch a HD remastering of the 2006 GameCube and Wii title.
To begin, a shop icon for Twilight Princess was discovered deep, deep down in the Wii U eShop, which served to spark the remastering rumours.
But then, that icon was strengthened by the uncovering of the title “Twilight Princess HD” on the eShop servers.

The remakes of the N64 titles Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask came to 3DS in 2011 and 2015 respectively.
Then there was the HD release of the cel-shaded GameCube title, The Wind Waker. That hit Wii U back in 2013, and serves as the last console Zelda game before the Twilight Princess.
Nintendo has spoken before of the possibility of remastering Twilight Princess and other Wii effort Skyward Sword.
Hopefully, such an HD re-release of Twilight Princess will fill the gap ahead of the Legend of Zelda Wii U game, which has been delayed until 2016.
